Goat Hill Park
Idiosyncratic Excitement
Offering a relaxed vibe, an inclusive atmosphere and ocean views, Goat Hill Park was one of the first golf courses in San Diego County when it opened in 1952. The layout was expanded from 9 to 18 holes in the early 1990s. In 2014 a team led by John Ashworth began managing and restoring the property introducing a casual dress code, a dog-friendly campus and a championship disc golf course, all consistent with the unique coastal cool atmosphere. Goat Hill Park is proud of its history of junior golf leadership and offers a special three-hole course, called the Playground, on which kids and their parents play for free.

Set on a scenic hilltop above the San Luis Rey Valley, Arrowood Golf Course offers 18 holes designed by local architect Ted Robinson Jr. It presents challenges to players of all abilities, and the final four holes, reverently dubbed The Quandary, are designed to test a player’s concentration and fortitude. The practice area offers a generous short game ground and an outdoor driving range including Toptracer state-of-the-art technology with ball tracking, other data analysis and fun game.

Bordering Oceanside, San Diego County is the coastal community of Carlsbad, home to some of the most fun open play pickleball courts in North County San Diego. Visit Pointsettia Park for some outdoor rec fun! Within a few minutes of drive time, you can enjoy six outdoor dedicated pickleball courts complete with fencing, lighting, bleachers, parking, water and bathrooms.
